Business mentoring, coaching and professional development can be a pivotal point in your business success. Whether starting out, or confused about just what to do next, or if you’re at crunch time around expansion, having a mentor to support you through the process is invaluable. Most successful entrepreneurs have a mentor in 'their corner' to filter out the 'white noise' we so easily get caught up in, and to focus on the areas of success and innovation.

Enlist your coach or mentor so you:
* Go into practice with business skills up your sleeve
* Start out with all the elements for success in place
* Have strong confidence in what you are doing and why
* Can see opportunity in even the ordinary
* Plan how to scale your business to the next level without stress

We have a blend of pre-recorded business courses (which are re-recorded regularly to account for the changes in areas like social media) and live small group sessions.

Refunds and transfers are not possible once you have accessed course materials. Please see our full Ts & Cs for details of our policies on our website.

Heather got her start managing events globally for some of the world’s top speakers such as Tony Robbins. When the speakers Heather worked with wanted to engage with their tribes online her first big project was building a membership site in 2008 that attracted 18,000 members when it launched. Heather then co-founded the digital marketing agency Autopilot Your Business in 2010, which currently teaches automation strategies to small business owners, and is the Founder of Website Love, a website development company.

Having a crystal clear picture of the ideal clients you want to attract helps you focus your efforts so you’re not running around creating “one size fits all” products, services and marketing that doesn’t have any impact.

Generalising your marketing and your offering to everyone can have negative effects — you can end up missing the mark totally – not finding the right prospects who will turn into paying clients. Having a target client in mind provides clarity and purpose to your content. It gives you a laser focus for your marketing and avoids wasting time and energy.

This task is a wonderfully enriching coaching session, known as a Fishbowl, it is a 60 to 180-minute small group session depending on group size, the group is made up of participants and a volunteer client. The session essentially has four roles:

1.      The course instructor

2.      The client (who is external)

3.      A coaching group, who will swap with,

4.      An observation group

A client while a volunteer is a real client (not a student from the group). Three of the students in your fishbowl group elect to be coaches, and the remaining group are observers, hence ‘fishbowl’. The instructor briefly explains the session format with the group before starting. The instructor will then invite the initial participating students to start to coach. The remaining members quietly observe and gather feedback, until it’s their turn to coach. Students completing Fishbowls report a sense of real growth in their confidence and coaching.

Through unpacking and exploring real-life coaching your qualified ICF coach and peers will support you to deepen your understanding of the nuances of effective coaching that supports clients to progress to their desired goals. This session uses the ICF PCC markers as competencies to drive an engaging session that will strongly grow your skills and confidence.

This session forms part of the Certified Health & Wellbeing Coach Program (ICF credential pathway).

In sharing actual client case studies with other coaches you may be able to gain insights into areas in the case that develop your awareness of methods to invoke inquiry, better identify challenges, manage your communication of perspective option, express insights, identify ‘white noise’ versus significant issues. You might also gain insight into other actions and alternative suggestions, options, resolutions not provided to the client. You might also see other processes to enhance client self-discovery and competence, or ways to challenge their viewpoints and beliefs, as well as ways to engage the client more deeply, and express concerns bravely for the benefit of the client.

This session forms part of the NHC 'create and elective' as well as the Certified Health & Wellbeing Coach Program (ICF pathway).
